A quick, simple and highly effective exercise around objectives, communication and cross-functional working. All you need is a couple of tubes of Smarties and some small pots (or cake cases).
To use for collaborative working, run the exercise twice: the first time as written and score a point for each task that is completed. Then ask delegates to work together to achieve as many tasks as possible. they won’t achieve them all, but they SHOULD achieve more, and even if they don’t the fact that its has been a group decision about which tasks to complete and which to ignore makes it feel less like a win or lose exercise.
