In March 2021 we’re getting to grips with additional tools that we can incorporate into our virtual training.
Here’s the recording of our session exploring MURAL.
Mural is an all singing, all dancing virtual tool and there’s a LOT to get your head around. It can seem very exciting an tempting, and there’s no doubt at all that it’s incredibly versatile. But don’t be tempted to use when it’s not necessary, If you only need a simple post-it note exercise, use Jamboard. If you need to just collate some ideas, Padlet might work just as well.
Always use the simplest tool for the job AND bear in mind where your delegates are technically. BUT if they are quick to pick things up, and your session is more facilitation than presentation, Mural will be great.
HUGE thanks to Rebecca Wray for being our guide on this whistle stop tour.
Here’s the PDF she downloaded in the session. You can see that it is essentially a picture, but if you zoom in, you can see everything clearly.
And Rebecca also signposted this webinar run by Gemma Jones as something that you might find useful to watch.
And Kris Thorne Shared these Mural Specific ice-breakers and energisers with us.
