If your training workshop has a structure and planned content, it’s a good idea to create supporting delegate materials that people can take away. Many people encourage delegates to make their own notes, and of course this is good practice, BUT if these hand-written notes are all delegates have, there’s a danger that they will have missed important aspects, or misinterpreted certain points. There’s also the very real danger that notes won’t make sense a few weeks after the event. Whilst this may not be a concern in all cases, if the workshop is part of a programme or leads to a qualification, people need to have clear information to look back on.
